I may also be bringing the wife and two little ones and if I do I will most likely trailer it to Salem NJ and put in there. More than an hour or so on the water with a 5 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter gets old fast. Then again it might be the wife I would need to worry aboutchuck, thanks much for the offer but I have the wife and two little ones traveling with me, I would love to do that trip again, we did from Croydon to jellyfish joels on the fairlee creek and it was awesome. I think jln is going to be joining us for a day, always nice to travel with another boat if you want to hit him up. If I could afford to feed two 300's I would boat down with you if its together. if it isn't done I will have to borrow a boat again. thanks again
Bob lives right around the corner and Rob is close also. You may be able to leave it at one of their houses.
I usually put in at barbers basin in salem and head across the Delaware into the c + d canal then 16 miles to the the upper Chesapeake . I have been as far south as red eyes , Grasonville from salem on a day trip. but the waters are sometimes rough in the bay 2 to 4 footers can pop up quick depending on tides and winds, when I showed up at the first bash I left out of the middle river . if I can make it this year I was thinking of leaving somewhere out of the bohemia river or somewhere in that area. it would be a great ride from salem but only if the weather cooperates. I do most of my boating in this area and its rarely perfect less than 1 footers for the entire day . I have crossed the Delaware out of salem in perfect calm and came back 4 or 5 hrs later and its 3 to 4 footers the upper bay is the same. when it gets closer and I can check my work schedule I can look closer at places to launch from and I will keep you guys posted. hope to make it this year.I may also be bringing the wife and two little ones and if I do I will most likely trailer it to Salem NJ and put in there. Great info Jln! That is one heck of a day trip from Salem down to red eyes. Last year I went from Barbers basin to Annapolis and docked the boat at the marina for a few days before returning. The ride down was a pretty rough for a 20ft pulsare but got lucky on the way back. At least this year I have a 24ft which will help. It would be great if the timing and weather worked out to cruise down with you. I will stay in touch to see how things progress.I usually put in at barbers basin in salem and head across the Delaware into the c + d canal then 16 miles to the the upper Chesapeake .
