    Power trim wont stay up

    The two pistons are for trim, the large one is for tilt when trailering. First thing to check is there is a plastic screw on the side with a couple orings on it to manually release it and allows the trim to come down if there is no power to the motor or it fails. If those orings go it will...

    I don't have an enchanter but did have a Bridgeport on a predictor for a few years. I'd definitely go with the 250xs, more torque, way more reliable, good charging system and better on fuel.     About to buy an 85 Diplomat

    Don't know anything about the boat but I've seen it on CL and looks like a good deal. Won't be a rocket ship, but a good cruiser. Anything that has sat that long will need a good investigation in regards to any rotten wood, replace fuel lines, fluids, etc.
