No sir I haven't. Working on making a 6" setback bracket but was on vacation so haven't touched it in about a week. Just Google some pics and see where others have placed theirs. That's what I planned on doing. Just make sure you will have enough length wherever you decide to mount them...- jtellor

Speed hole comment was a joke...Lol. I was going to add some thick grade 8 washer to the inside before bolting them on. Also thought about welding some 3/16 plate to the inside where the bolts will pass though to beef it up. I honestly wouldn't go thicker with steel just because of the...- jtellor

Enchanter 200 merc?
I know you've gotten a few answers but figured I'd add mine. Mine actually ran 66 or 67 GPS with just me in it 2 years ago with on setback or jackplate with a 24P chopper. I think revs were 5800-5900. The prob is burried too..probably 5" or more below pad. That's good to here that with...- jtellor

Thank you all again. If it wasn't for members like you guys on this site I never would have bought an older check. I'm looking forward to getting this boat presentable again. Been awhile since I posted but I got the enchanter out after two years and have finally been getting to all the little things I've needed to do to it. One of the things is I'm going to be putting a small jackplate or just a setback bracket on it. I know most say it needs 10" or so on these...- jtellor

3 enchanters on ebay right now!
Just thought this was kind of odd as this is the most enchanters ive ever seen on ebay at one time since i bought mine. Oh ya...and all have merc 200hps on them! this one was repainted and they want quite a bit..but its nice...- jtellor

Starting with a plugged up carb......bad idea???
I've been wanting to do a compression test since i bought the boat...just to see. I need to just buy the gauge and do it already. I def dont think its hurt though. I just really need to keep up on my maintenance from now on and dont let it sit for so long. Thanks guys.- jtellor
