" For Sale" 1988 Checkmate Starflite -project-

Me again! I had all the other threads deleted ;)

Seriously serious about moving this serious project.

This thread has it all: http://checkmate-boats.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23179

I found a 21BR and am unmotivated to finish this at the moment.

Did I mention how seriously serious I am? Boat is currently split, can/will flip and temp put back together. As of 6/7/12, the trailer bunks are off, and the trailer is about half prepped for re-finish. I had planned on replacing bunks and coating with rustoleum then duplicolor bed liner. Heck, a trailer in good cond is worth $1K+!

Boat has new rock solid floor, transom, stringers, etc. Smoothed w/P77 filler and then I but interlux primer followed by bilgecoat epoxy.

I still have I think 2 gallons of poly, 2 gallons of epoxy, a lot of cab-o-sil, some P-77 filler/finisher and who knows what else, all included!!! I will even throw in a set of gauges I will be replacing.

Make me a reasonable offer, or shoot me your # and we can talk. I am extremely motivated.

Josh

Just wait until winter...you'll be motivated again.:poke:

Hmmm, possible. If it does not sell, I will be putting it in storage and continuing after boating season is done. :thumb:

Wish you was closer.

Me too. Roads go east and west, never know, always possible to work something out.

I might be looking for another winter project.. PM me with price range you want to be in.

PM sent. I know what I have into it, as most guys can probably figure out as well. Like I said, motivated, I realize the 100 hrs of labor and $$$ pumped into it won't come back...

Jim, you need a project for those long MI winters! I'm sure Andy will store it in LKN for half the season for you.......

Good luck, BK....that is a steal for your project.
