Not sure what you mean by "side panels"? It is the piece on the floor that you throw your keys and wallet behind when you get in the boat. I know there is a name for it I just don't know what it is.The board/vertical pieces in last picture is what you screw the side panels to if you got them. Nice job on the transom it turned out great!

My boat has side panels that covers from the gunnell down to the hull. At the bottom is where I attach/screw to secure the panel in place. Look at the picture between the seats and the inside of the boat, that's my side panels.
Yeah, I see what you are saying. My side panels are very minimal and are for looks only. The only pieces I have are 2, 3"-4" tall pieces of 1/4" plywood that were about 3' long. I thought I got up early but you were replying at 5 something A.M. Thanks, Scott.
Working on it. Been sanding the hull smooth so I can put a solid surface down as opposed to carpet. Looking at All's Liner. Any experience with it or any other painted/ bedliner type surface? I picked up the new interior Monday at a cost of $1427!!! Holly hell. If that s not motivation to get this done, I don't know what is. I ordered drain tubes for the transom and splashwell as well as a new aluminium roller for the glass on the floor. I am hoping to put the floor or at least the stringer and supports in this weekend. (I know I said that before) Pictures to come this weekend. Thanks, Scott.
If you're going to the extent of sanding the sides of the hull smooth and floor I would roll/spray gelcoat on it. Kind of like the bay/skiff or center console boats, later on you could add snap in carpet. Just a thought.
