220 checkmate convincor -reviews??

OK another question- This time about props. RPG I know u have the same boat and run a 22P 4 blade this boat has a 19P 3 blade and that does not seem like the best prop for speed. I think it is more of a ski prop. That being said I know they run 23P on the 454 non mag in this boat. Which I just so happen to have on my shelf-Thoughs on what prop this should have on it? I think it should spin a similar prop to the 454 non mag mpi ??? Thanks again

I'm doing some prop research right now as well. took it out Saturday and at full throttle i'm only seeing about 4500 rpm so I might try a lower pitch to see if I can squeeze a little more out of her.

Let me know if u get soe info -I will do the same
4500 is too low.. same prop as last year? speeds you are seeing at 4500??

boat was new to me last year so I never really paid attention to those things spent too much time smiling from ear to ear listening to the thru hauls! hahaha

This year after reading and learning more about the boat I am looking into more.

Understandable-They do sound nice.
Well let me know what you come up with and how the boat is running.
Checkmate is getting me the stock info for these boats with our motor.
I am thinking 3 blade 23P mirage????

I'm also tossing the idea of sending my 22p out for labbing. id like to stay with the 4 blade, she jumps out on plane so nice and is really nice to cruise in.

That is a very nice prop may work perfect if u do that the 4 blades bite good and handle great .. I will keep u posted on mine but a 19p has to be the wrong prop for me and wanting good speed and a nice cruise speed. I have that 23p I will try and see what checkmate tells me it came with factory

If all you can muster is 4500 on that 4 blade... I would go to a 3 blade. I am pretty sure the 4 blades rob you of a couple hundred rpm.

I run a 23P Mirage. It works well.

I ran a 24P 4 blade bravo and lost some rpm and a couple mph. I think a 24P 3 blade would be the ticket for top end on mine.

looks like a good one congrats. Mine is going up for sale in a few weeks. I'm moving up to a 30 convincor. mine has the 454 mag mpi engine, b1 outdrive, very clean inside and out. low hours on engine. gonna freshen up the out drive before I sell it. will run 69 on gps. JLaudio stereo. $15K with trailer. title in hand. If anyone is looking let me know.

Very nice boat will sell no problem at all! Where were you a month ago?? LOL

Thanks. Boat was in storage and I didn't want to throw it out there and people couldn't come look at it yet. As for the one you got I would run a 22p 4 blade. The boat will ride more stable than a 23p 3 blade. I've tried them all and mine does better with the 24p. with your engine and a 22p you should be able to get the maximum revs out if it. should hit 60-62. You're gonna love the boat. Rides like a 25 footer in the light chop. If you have any questions about it just let me know.

Diesel30- Thanks for the info. I have been in a bunch of 25' and was really liking the 22 as it is just that much easier to tow and store so thanks for that info. I have a 23P so I may use that and the 19P for now until I can get the $$ up for a 4 blade -I used Turbo props back in the day with good results but lots of people like the Bravo 1 4 blade. RGP has a 22 P 4 blade and he likes it but is not gettimng max RPM so I will have some talking and testing to do. Good luck with the new boat no luck needed on the sale that will be gone FAST!!

Talked with BBlades this morning about having my 22p labbed. they said they can get me an additional 300 rpm out of it. 392.00 plus the ride. two week turn around.

Damn that is pricey --BUT..I bet that will run and handle real sweet. As always let me know how it goes and how it works after U try it.
