Looking good Nick, I like the idea of the LED light so it won't kill the battery, think I need one of those!
Looking good Nick![]()
Having drove his ol' dodge, it's a great running truck. We went out to MO to pick up my Caddy. Black sooting the broad that was riding in my blind spot was great. Wasn't my fault she was right at the exhaust and her window was downAfter driving it has made me consider having a cummings swap done in my ol' gas tow pig. Just wonder how loud it would be spinning 4.10 gears @ 75mph

You're not trying to blow up your reliable 496 now, are you Ron??Shouldn't be any louder than my 8100 (496 MAG basically) with 4.10 gears and a 4" flowmaster and 5" tip at those speeds...hehe! Just wait till I slide the HO cam that is on my shelf in her.
Brian, That is where the 4000 rpm spring kit comes in! They sound knarly at that rpm's!!!! We just got done building one over the winter. 600 hp out of a mostly stock 12 valve that started to de-fuel at 3800 rpm. Too bad you didnt consider that earlier, he just sold that motor after the ole dodge it was in fell apart!
NICK- That boat looks awesome and I can't wait to see it at Cumberland!

I remember you telling me that last winter... freakin luckeyass.I actually found an LED anchor light last year floating in Cumberland!! I plugged it in and it fired right up. Free stuff rules!!!
My 96 is slowly turning to dust but the simplicity of that 12 valve is such a beautiful thing that I don't know if I would part with it even if I could afford to.
Great looking boat/truck by the way.
John
Dude, that shift knob would add like 30hp to the Neon!!!!
I did the front portion of the frame and both the axles on mine a couple years ago with POR15. Personally, I'm not too impressed by it. I expected rust to return on parts like the axles where I could only get so much of the scale off but I brought the front swaybar to work and blasted it clean and its rusting again. Gonna get under there again this summer with plain old Rustoleum gloss black and do it again.
Dude, that shift knob would add like 30hp to the Neon!!!!
But it will still be a neon driven by a guy who likes to sleep in a princess bed.
