CHECKMATE OWNERS RALLY 2014

Ron you are going to be there! I can make time the weekend before to head to Michigan and help with finishing up your beer while you get the beast ready if need be!! :poke:
 
Thats a great offer! The only unknown at this point is when the EFI is going to show up. Bob says it is his goal to get me one next week. We will see.

If yours isnt ready maybe you could take my ole rig down and run the snot out of it. I have a couple of situations that are looking bad on timing for the rally. I m keeping my fingers crossed at this point. Best of luck getting your parts in . You guys putting this together are doing an awesome job with everything. Im really hoping I will be there!!!!
 
There was mention that one large covered slope might be rented, does anyone know if this May happen or not?

At one time it was an idea but due to the amount of participation it would just not accomodate everyone. Instead those who want can stay tied up to the houseboat and "cove out" at 76 falls or head back to grider and get a personal covered slip for the night.
 
Really excited about the event and how Jeff, Dave, and I have been able to work with Dean and Joe to grow the event! This years event is turning into hopefully the best to date. Without all the help from the above mentioned, it may not have grown like it has. Should be a great time.


I'd like to also thank Barry Gill for his help the first couple years to get this going. This is something that we threw together for us to hang out with some fellow enthusiast :cheers:
 
About this time in 2 weeks we should be an hour into our drive down to LC. :bounce: time can't pass quick enough, I'm getting excited.
 
When's everyone arriving and departing?
We will be there mid day Friday and leaving Sometime on Moday.
 
Our reservation is at State Dock Lure Lodge Wens.- Monday morning. Just the wife and I this year and will be in the 235 . Im slammed with work and somehow will be leaving for LC early Wens morning for the 9 hour drive. Never been so excited to burn so much fuel and the 4 straight hangovers in a row.Yeeehaaaawww.

Awesome PC !!!! You and the wife are more than welcome to cove out @76 falls with us. Who knows with any luck there may not be a choice !!:cheers::
