Chesapeake Bash 2013 - June 7-10

I'm lovin' those charts Spence posted. Wish I could zoom on Keith's address.
I'm so psyched I'm thinking I've gotta bring the whole boat down instead of just straggling along with the purpleyak.
Spence- How many people in? How are the rooms dividing?
Also-since this displaces the dates we talked about on LadyLiberty run we'll have to push that back. Did we pick those cause of SamIam? (When should we reschedule Libertyphotoshoot for?)
Does that mean he might be able to shift his date into this location? Sam....?
Just thinking out loud.

The chart site is awesome! You can also plot a course and figure up the total distance etc.

Bring your boat or not, there should be plenty of room for you to hitch a ride with someone.

So far the head count that I have is: If I'm forgetting anyone, plus quote and add them.

Sim staying at house
Keith staying at house
Knarloid & family staying at house
Droptop & wife staying at house
Me & family staying at house
Merc245 staying at house
Spoiled rotten staying at house
Jetmate not sure if he is staying at the house

My take on the rooms - there are two bedrooms on the third floor. I think Knarloid and myself should be up there since we will have young kids with us. That way we don't wake or bother anyone else. That leave three additional bedrooms, two of which are bunk rooms with four beds in each room.

SAMIAM- you think you can make it? Boat or not.

Hopefully others will start to confirm in the next couple months. I know there were a bunch of new guys that popped up on the forum from the Chesapeake this year.

Whats the head count and ages of kids?
I'm still undecided on bringing my son. I probaly will if theres other kids to occupy him.

As of right now it will just be me and my brother (25 and 27) in my group. there is a slim possibility that his little girl (5) might join but probably not. (she only likes to go fast on glassy water)
 
My daughter is 6, my son will be approaching 2 by then.

I would imagine that a lot of the water there will be 'glassy' until we head south towards the Chesapeake?
 
if the dates work out i will be coming by boat on sat either from chestertown area (ramp) or the northern chessy. i will let you guys know a few days before. the house and area looks great. i have been to watermans a few times its hard to beat there crab cakes.
 
After doing some research of the surrounding area, I'm pleased to report the nearest liquor store is 8 miles away.

Oh and theres some boat ramps and other stores near by also.

Hopefully you can make it with your boat, but if you don't bring the boat, you should try to make a day trip to hang out.:cheers: Don't forget the boxed wine:poke: Droptop will bring the good stuff from my vineyard:rof:

Spence, you been hangin in the Barossa valley? There's also a Simi Valley crankin' out some juice on the left coast. But I don't think they bust balls. I think you're in the land of convicts and exiles.
Bummer.
We'll see what we can do about picking some up for June.
