Delaware River 9/22

Try? I thought you were one of the guests of honor.
Although for some reason the term "Roast" pops into my mind. Where did that come from?

I fear the term 'Roast' may have doubly bad connotations for YF, well, one of his entourage at least. Rumour on West Coast is that said member will fly into a tizzy at the sound of silverware clinking together, charcoal being dumped out of its bag, however quietly, and one whiff of lighter fluid can and will produce world class acceleration...

Translation^^^^ Hudy don't like grill outs!!

Got lots of work to do before then. The enchanter is laying in pieces and it won't be a 5 minute fix :(

Well it looks like I don't have much of a choice and will have to make it out there.:thumb: We need to get these trailers situated for the caravan out, this could get interesting.

Looks like I'm in too. Not 100% on the boat making it down but I will be there. About how long of a ride is this mileage wise Spence? What time should I be in the water in Trenton with Sim?

I think we're talking 10ish in the water or 9:30 to my house. If you'd like you and fam (or none-and that goes for you too knarloid) are welcome to stay over the night before for barbecue, shenanigans and I'll even keep the pool open. Whatever. The more the betterrer. Rrr.
ps. we're talking roughly 33 miles each way on the water from Trenton.- considering the possibility of pulling botes closer to Spence 1/2 way in between. Another 20 (roughly) miles on land but an hour closer on water if there be pusswahs on board. Like my fam. Who I hope won't be there. Hopin' to just be bringin' Budsters. Maybe a few from work too.
Philly, by the way, means submarines, Battleships, (USS New Jersey) and frigates along with helicopters at the beginning. If you go a few miles further downriver it means airport landing strips (PHL}, Navy shipyards and eventually bigger water but that's another 10- 30 minutes to the Delaware/Chesapeake. Speed dependant of course.

Probably gonna have to make it a day trip, too many activities for the kiddies after school. As of now 8'm flying solo with the possibility of Emily joining us. Gotta love that kid, she's such a trooper. Gonna run it by my dad since he's been asking me about a river run and would love to get a run down the river with someone who knows what they're doing before attempting it on his own and rumor has it Sim knows his way around a little of it. :)

Bring the old man, bring Emily (We'll keep her teeth safe). I think you'll LOVE towing your boat in but you are certainly welcome (as always) on ours.

Rumor has it, 2 guys from maryland might be dragging one of those jet thingys up there!
Would be great to see em but those bangy thingy's put us to such shame !
This might be a legit shindig.
Now , as long as we've got some waterskiing. Makes it completely on the up and up.
