Looks good Robbie... but it has a slightly different sheen from the hull. Will this require repainting in the near future so it all matches? Kinda like the slightly different shades of red?
The boat is ready for rigging finally!!!! I got the boat watersanded, buffed, waxed and wash today and my arms hurt!!!! First sanded with 1200 grit, then 1500 grit followed by 3M HD rubbing compound, 3M rubbing compound, Mirrore glaze no. 7 and then waxed by hand using Collinite no. 925. Here's a couple of pictures after washing the boat.
Robbie,
Is it my imagination or does the black stripe make the boat appear shorter
in the third pic?
Great job, by the way!
Awesome Looks like one of the boats Wildman did, minus the palm tree in the reflection.Check out the clouds reflecting off the deck.
Btw did you make or buy those steps that go on the gunnell? I'm sure there's another name for them.
Damn dude she's really lookin good! What amazes me the most is the fact that this was all accomplished in the back yard. You guys have done some nice work

Dude, she looks great. I've checked out the picks about half a dozen times now, and I think it's stellar. Also, I really like the stance of the boat on the trailer. It's nice and level. Too much nose up on the trailer stance really detracts from the aesthetics of any boat when out of the water. IMHO.
Nice work!
Yep, sometimes I even amaze myself......or is that amuse myselfWhat amazed me was watching Brian adjust for the conditions as he was painting. I'm happy how it turned out.
