I was just thinking, after reading his ad, that I'd take $9,000 for my 95 219 (with 7.4L/Bravo 1). The topside of mine isn't pristine, the hull has a few areas that are in need of beautification, but the interior is new and the floors/stringers are all solid (they were redone). After reading your assessment, I think he's a bit, no... quite a bit, overpriced.

I think yours would sell pretty quick at that price. Great color and doesn't look faded on the sides. My diplomat is brown and the sides are pretty faded.

So, he is selling it b/c he just ordered a new 2017 Viper and doesn't use the boat much. He paid 120-ish 9 yrs ago, and he's pretty proud of it, and deservedly so. Book appears to be around 40k for the boat only, it has a newer Dorsey custom trailer that he says was 13k new, so it may book for around 46-48?
Anyway, its worth more than that to me, If he gets anxious and comes around to 50-55, Id have a hard time saying no.

That thing looks clean and well rigged. CM even did an outstanding job on the cabin it looks like. The cabinetry looks much better than all the other 330/320's Ive seen. A bit overpriced IMO yet but an extremely nice boat none the less.

I guess I'm stating the obvious, but because Checkmate has made so few of the 303/320's and ZT330's. If you really want a Checkmate in that size, you are likely going to have to accept some things you aren't going to like. Wrong color, too high a price, not well looked after, older then you want are all likely issues when looking for one and you may have to buy one with with at least one of those issues. Same can be said for the larger(25-28ft) O/B Convictors.

I think in that size range unless you get real lucky, you might be better off with other brands of boats.

If on the other hand, you only want a 283/300 then you have a very good chance of finding a good one at a fair price.

Just my opinion, but if your heart is set on one of those, over paying for a great one would be my first choice.

Of course who can talk, I'm still looking for the perfect I/O Entertainer,
LOL, good thing not finding it has not kept me off the water.

The pumpkin boat takes some getting use to. I love the orange boats and i bet it looked better new. I dont like the pictures that look like they where taking in the rain and the inside is all wet. I do like the bottle opener in pic 3 lol

The jersey shore starflight has Knarloids 150 yamaha on it. That's the boat it ended up on when i put the 250 on. That motor was clean.

My thoughts exactly.....I thought with twin 6.2L they ran about that? Should be darn near 80 mph Id think.
 
Well, call me stupid....but I would hope it would be a high 70s to 80 mph boat (on the GPS thingy) with 850 hp.

Not saying that at all. It's rare someone claims real world to low numbers. It's 850 with the weight of 2 engines though. I think 75 maybe 80 on a good day would be a good number.
