Don't worry about the gel on that yellow one, chances are it was faded out about 3 months after it left the factory, and was either regelcoated or shot with urathane.

I remember that time. My local CMate dealer sold a yellow boat that came back within 2 months, back to the factory it went.

I agree about the trailer. I have seen a lot of boats on trailers like that. I guess it is a new design but it would worry me.
 
From what you can see of the trailer in the pic it looks like there's room to bring everything forward some.
