VERY nice!

Got a call yesterday from Flint Mi and the new owner of the old Starliner motor, thanking me and telling me how good it ran.

They live on a private lake and said his Stratos tunnel vee see's 5800 right before he runs out of water.

Was repowering after popping an old OMC 150 cross flow.
Said they're hard core slalom skiers.
Told him to call me after his first deep water start w/the new motor ;)

I agree, Helmutt. Looks like it needs new interior skins and a good buffing but still a good deal if it is solid. To bad it is way on the West coast!

Agreed.

I was just watching several boats on e-bay and none of them hit reserve.

Not sure where the confusion is coming from but it sure is out there.
I think some of it may be the brokers scooping them up based on promising the owners stupid high prices.
Coarse they don't sell either.

My favorites are the ones advertised as: turn key, very clean, water ready, needs nothing, etc.
Then you read the add and find the thing doesn't even run!

I do not miss the wasted trips to look at junk advertised as clean.
