Ok Coop, you CM guru .....what model is this? It's not a Persuader 202/184 or a Pacifica BR. It's like a Starlet or Ambassador w- an integrated swim platform. Must have came from the skunk works.
90 open bow CM for $2300.

Entertainer w- 350 for $4500.

Umm.... this one has almost everything I want in an old Entertainer. Heavy flake, Merc I/O, gel coat looks salvageable... well except for where those crappy plexiglass half windshields are installed? Who does that? Looks like it's a pre 1982 given the dash is those black plastic covers rather than fiberglass.
I wonder if I could have the whole dash redone to look like the 82 and later glass dash or maybe in a carbon fibre look, and get a proper windshield made up form Tayormade.
That interior looks like it could be original. Matches what they looked like back then anyway.
Karz, cool boat but $4500 seems very high asking price in my opinion.......
Yea, that windshield is nearly a deal breaker all by itself. I called him and have him taking more pictures and e-mailing them to me.
The boat is supposedly in great shape everywhere, original interior and gelcoat that shines, very few blemishes under the hull too. The windshield was destroyed a couple of years ago when the carport the boat was stored under collapsed onto it(I didn't ask what storm caused it). The new little screens are installed in the old holes so no new damage done and the collapsed roof only damaged the windshield, nothing else.
Really, I probably can't make the deal work, as the timing is bad for me now, just about to leave for 2 weeks at the lake with all the family and my current boat, then a week white water canoeing after that.
But if that Blue/Grey all heavyflake boat is as nice as he says it is and the factory could put a new windshield on it from the old patterns, I think I might be unhappy later for not trying to do something now.
