I have been around boats a long time and always likes Checkmates. Well finally all the cards fell my way and I was able to buy one! 87' Checkmate Senator.

I have almost exact duplicate

I also have an 87 Senator. looks like the same color, the upholstry is slightly different. Great boat. How big is your garage? I would like to store inside but normal garage seems to small.
Thanks,
Alan

Garage

Alan,

I think its 24 feet deep. Inside It is just shy of 24ft. As you saw in the pics it barely fits. I have to back it in till the boat levels out then trim the motor down to "shorten" then overall lenth to squeeze it in. But it fits and thats what counts.....its out of the weather. Send me some pics of yours. I havent seen another Senator around. Where you located?

Nice boat, congrats on it! No matter what, I don't regret buying my mate. Even tho I have spent tons of cash on it, its a love like no other!
