At any rate you must have the fastest 2100 in all the land since you run 10mph faster than BADBKs bow rider.... that puts you at 94.9mph... and since you're such a non-braggart, and not full of youself, you'd never mention that to us... yeah, I'm sure you'd keep that under your hat... last I heard you were at 88-89mph... and damn, my ****ty fishboat is only 10mph slower than that... what do I know, though- I'm a fisherman.
 
As much as I'd like to think a Merc is a superior motor, there's been a few guys running E-rudes down in IL(lake racing circuit) that have taken the Merc's to the cleaners year in year out. I can't deny the facts. I personally have never owned one but would definitely not rule it out.

Actually, what you just described quite well and seem to do quite a bit of, is what is commonly referred to as "trolling". ;)

Some people unfortunately, can't help but take your bait and engage you.

I find it interesting that you even went as far as listing off some names of people, you have managed to suck into your game.

The problem for you though is, that many of those people you just listed off, have been around here for some time and I have a great deal of respect for them. I respect them because they've made positive contributions to our community.

And trust me on this, your list pales in comparison to the list that I could make. I've got a PM box full of messages from members who have had enough of your antics.

Since you arrived, I've actually tried to purposely err on your side and make sure to not make decisions about your behavior here, based on what I saw happen on my friend Greg's site, Scream and Fly. I've even gone out of my way, more than a few times, and told members that bring up your history on S&F, that I don't really care about your history over there, that all that is relevant to me, is what happens here. So let's just say, you started here with a clean slate as it were.

Unfortunately, it seems like we are now fully engaged in this almost endless permanent cycle, of you making nice with people and then you trolling for trouble and unfortunately finding it. The group then raps your knuckles, you make nice once again and then a short while later, you're back, knee deep in "it", all over again.

I'm here to tell you, the cycle stops here. :thumb:

back on track to the original post here. i emailed the company and asked what happened with the previous sale, heres the reply:

Dear boatn70,

It had sold. The short of it is, a daugther won it, but she sent her father from Canada to pick it up. We had clearly posted on the auction that if paying by check that the funds would have to clear before taking possession. He wanted to change that and take the boat before we actually received payment (in addition it was a Canadian check, which the bank said would take 5 days to clear). He declined to pay for it in full before taking it, so the deal was cancelled and we relisted it.

Yes the boat will sell, I just checked the auction this morning and the minimum has been met.

It sure ain't a MERC, but I've got my ebay sniper bot set-up for the auction if it goes cheap enough. I emailed the guy too, it seemed he had gotten a LOT of grief for the last one....

What do ya think 75-80ish?
 
Guys, I've heard from some, that the boat has been sitting outside for a couple of years. Not sure if it was covered, or uncovered. But there is ice on the front bow seats in one of the pics if you look closely.

What does do to the value in your eyes?

Looks like there is a bow cover and cockpit cover that has at least been on it. Not waterproof, but it looks reasonably clean inside.

Definately hurts the value if it had not had a mooring cover on it.

If the seats are wet, the floor is wet, that would be a 30% reduction for me.

I've never used my cockpit cover. Always use the full cover, then another cover over that to keep it clean....then I park it under a carport.
