I got an efficiency cottage. I called Grider and asked if you can pitch a tent on the cottage space. they said yes if there's room its not a problem and some have room and some don't.

So if there's room you're more than welcome to pitch a tent by us.

Well you can count us in!!:bounce: Now we are just trying to find a place to stay, we might bring the fifth wheel and camp not sure yet. We have stayed in Jamestown before and State dock and everytime we've stayed at those places the are dumps.

hey man....i may be wrong...but didnt i meet you at Jamestown last fall??? think one of the ladies with you had an accident and had to get stitched up and i helped her carry groceries to the boat....and yall gave me a ride out to the slip......

i recognize the boat.....could be mistaken and im sorry if i am. lol theres more than one like that,,,,,,,
 
No that wasnt us 2tonchevy. My dad is making reservations at Grider Hill right now so we will probably leave Thursday night and come home Monday.

Griders campground is nice but very old. It's heavily wooded and nothing at grider has been updated since the I would guess the 70's. The bath house is the same old but was clean everyday.

Where you guys staying at? Yeah I talked to the guy at Grider and he said there not 5 stars but they are clean.
 
I'm hoping my date from the June run will have so much fun then. That she agrees to drive herself up from Chattanooga TN for the Cumberland Run. And I going to suggest that maybe she has a girl friend or two that might want to make a weekend of it, since it would be only about 150 miles for them! ;) (always think'n)
 
We booked an Oak Suite at grider, dont think they are listed on there site. We stayed in one for the poker run and it was alot nicer than the ones on top of the hill. 2 bed, nice bath, kitchen and a couch where i will be sleeping. There has to be a wall between me and dads snoring :brickwall:
