We're in! Trailer is getting a once-over; bearings, brakes, equalizers, tires; so we will be ready to roll to Charolotte and the rest of the get-togethers next year. My brother lives there so it will be a great time to see him and hang out. I hope all of you can make it, it will be a great time like always.
 
I recalculated drive time. 7 hours 45 minutes. I typed in Lake Norman, no street, but mapped me to Greyfriars Rd. That is about center area of the lake.
Is everyone staying at Red's? :lol:

Troutman N.C is the closest town to the north end of LKN.

I would think that we would meet somewhere close to Troutman. There is a state park there and a ramp that Red uses close by as well.
 
My brother and I got to see SCT's rig close up, and it's UNBELIEVEABLE. It's the top-dog checkmate on this site for sure.

Don't get all bent out of shape, were just busting balls. I'm sorry that you feel so negative and hostile about us messing with you, guess we all miss read you as being able to take a joke and having a since of humor. Guess we were wrong.

I will no longer poke fun at you. As for knowing you, I stopped in checkmate to meet you a few weeks ago and you had already left(closing time). We tried to meet you at the owners rally but you didn't come(no big deal). Would like for you to come to the owners rally this year but if you don't, we will not loose any sleep. Maybe I will try and stop in again so I can meet you. Once we do meet, you will know I am not serious about most of the stuff I post and that I enjoy having fun. Sorry you took my post as offensive Kip

BTW, I am buying a new boat this spring and that was the main reason for stopping in. I wanted to talk with you on prices and options as well as see how they are made. Dean showed us around (even tho it was closing time) so I got to see the "how there made part". Now I need to compare prices and see if its worth a couple extra $$ to go with a fresh built vs a non current model year.
