Any interest in making this an event for us this year? New class for 21ft V bottom 250hp max boats that is bracketed should give us Mate owners something to relate to this year.

I'd say we shoot for Saturday and then if the weather is crap we can postpone to Sunday.

A couple of weeks and I'll be getting mine ready for the season.

Almost forgot the schedule:

I'd like to think I'll be there for that weekend (unsure what day for now), but it will be dependent on work - have my main project this year going live 3 days before it so I may be knuckle deep in a laptop (or on a slow-boat back to Ireland!).

Hope you can make it Kris. Hell, I hope I can make it. LOL!

Don, always got room for you and at least one other person with you on the boat.

May 10-12 is a wed. thru fri. I can meet you guys on Friday. Yes?
What does that look like schedule-wise?

Sim's on GDT (Grateful Dead Time).

Mother's day ain't gonna fly I don't think. So Saturday or not at all for me.

Good point. The Mother's day part, not the Grateful Dead part.
The Dead is long gone. Unfortunately, so is my cognitive functioning.

I'm putting my money on The Dead and your loss of cognitive thinking being somewhat related.

I get the sneaking suspicion that watching boats race around the lake is not the ladies' idea of a proper mother's day activity no matter how difficult it may be for us to believe it.

I'm quite certain you're correct on both counts.

I took her ladyship by (our new) Starliner to a restaurant on Lk Hopatcong for lunch last year with the kids.
I think I'll be able to swing it! :thumb:

I need to to get off my butt and go get my Starflite.

Will a Starflite make it to sixty with a 150 Suzuki on the back? :D

Possible but highly doubtful. You'd have to really be poking the setup, assuming suzuki equal to a Yammi- Is it so? Knarloid?

Seems like what's more important than just making it to 60 is making it there quick since you are limited in your top speed the holeshot will be very important.

I'm afraid I'm not of use on the Suzuki vs. Yamaha question.

I think it's going to have to be a stripped down Starflite to get there.

I'm still hoping I can, but work is busting my balls right now, and it's not due to stop until that week (all things going well).
