Nice truck, I have been looking around, cant decide what I want. That looks sharp.

Nice truck :thumb:
Nice rig, don't know if I'll ever go back to a gas burning truck after having a duramax tho!
I did...... I HATE IT!!! It does do everything I need it to do but damn..... I get 9 mpg towing. Whats even more sad is I am doing some engine and exhaust work and hoping and preying that I might get 11mpg out of it :brickwall:

BTW, I get 9.5mpg empty....:yell:

I hear ya Brian....I miss my dirtymax every day......I don't miss the payment though. It is bad when I have a 496 (8100 vortec) hopped up with 4.10 gears and I think it is still slow! The 8100 does better on fuel than the ole 454 did. I get 13-14 if im easy on it around town.......9-10 towing. With the 4.10 gears highway mileage sucks....best mpg is at 60 mph. It is around 370 hp now and over 500 tq. Not bad but not what I would expect out of 496 cu in. My dirty used to get 19 mpg hwy empty and 15 mpg hwy towing 20,000 lbs and putting 452 hp and 803 tq to the wheels! But having a company truck, I don't drive it enough to justify the price of a diesel again. I can burn a lot of dead dinosaurs for what the upgrade would cost......when it is paid off im just gonna procharge it and have my horsepower fix for way less than a diesel costs.

I have an 2005 Chevy 3500 extended van with the 6.0L and the automatic.

I get 14 to 14.5 mpg towing the Starflite with roughly 1500 in the body. No complaints here. My Ford E250 with the 5.4 Triton was lucky to see
10 with that load.

My dad just got the new 2011 ford f-250 6.7 and it pulls like a champ with 400hp and 800tq. He is getting 12.5mpg pulling the boat and it only has 2500 miles on it so it should do a little better. It has all the stuff on it so it burns cleaner it doesn't smoke at all and its very quite. It doesn't smell like diesel at all you could stand in the back right by the exhaust and not smell a thing.
