OUCH!!
Crying-Smiley.jpg
I am partial to the blue and yellow graphics :p

Brian, your blue and yellow is significantly more tasteful than the blue and yellow they used on that ZT350 and what appears to be used on the new 26.

Have no fear buddy, you got a great lookin 283.

Not so sure about the design. I'm sure it will look better when all together but a little disappointed its not the colors as the scetch. Hope its getting one of those 700s checkmates playing with.

Some news out is the first boat is getting base power, 380hp-8.2 mag. They have a number of orders for the boat and one of them is getting a 525.

I just talked to Courtney Smith (Doug's son) yesterday and he said they should have the first one done this month, they are waiting on the windshield. He will get some pictures to me as soon as they have a boat finished.

25FT AND 43FT

WE EXPECT TO BE IN THE WATER WITH THE 26 BY THURS.-FRI. WE ARE WAITING ON THE WINDSHELD FOR THE 26 FT. THE 43 WE ARE WAITING ON EXHAUST FROM CMI AND INTERIOR FROM McLEOD. THEY SAY BOTH WILL BE HERE THIS WEEK.

DOUG SMITH

Had a meeting at Checkmate Thursday. Doug gave us the complete tour before business was talked about. The boat is complete minus windshield. The swim platform, engine hatch and back seat was sitting there waiting to be bolted up. They were talking about water testing today even!!!! I must say I love the looks :D Lots of features not on other checks. My favorite is the built in steps on the cabin door to get up on the deck  The new 2013 graphics are awesome and are a perfect combination ;)

I am sure that we will get an update very soon ;)

I wasn't sold on the boat at first but seeing it finished i gotta say that thing is sweet!! I guess the questionable part i thought was the windshield, but actually does look really cool on the boat!! Graphics look good too! Looking foward to hearing the numbers on the boat!

I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be.
Looks pretty "beefy" for a 26 footer.
Can't wait to hear the numbers.

Speed numbers.....260 Convincor

Numbers are pretty impressive especially for a boat w / 8'6" beam....70 MPH ...23 Mirage @ 5000 w / 8.2 EC Mag HO.....and that's brand new right out of box !
