Press Release-New Checkmate Convincor Coming in 2012

i like it, except the "windshield" KILLS it

I think it would look KILLER if the windshield was white. The tint just doesn't seem to flow with the styling. It is not like it is a windshield you can look through anyways.....more of a wind screen anyways. I would like to see the next one come out with a white one. Would be bad azz.

Took the words right out of mouth

+1!!! Yup, that would be a killer idea!! I'd love to see a white or hull colored windshield!

I was misinformed, this is not a combs hull. :o

As soon as I saw the finished pics, I could tell. I have seen that dash layout/design somewhere before too except now it is full liner construction. :poke: But I wont say it. Still looks nice and runs respectably. I guess I was under the impression this was an all brand new design.

Would I be correct in saying "molds are expensive to build"?

Are the 3 shelves in the middle temporary? Looks like they are bolted in place so as not to have access to the cuddy cabin.

It's the steps to get onto the deck, they are in the sliding door to below, pictures do make it look like an add on. maybe it looks better in person? Maybe they should have included cup holders in the steps? could be an easy update later on.

The whole dash kind of looks segmented and "bolted together" to me. Just doesn't seem to flow. Hard to tell in pictures though. Might look better in person. Must look decent otherwise they wouldn't have designed it that way...at least I hope.

I see a lot of round and curvy design features on the boat then it gets quite square and boxy here.......just seems to clash a little bit in my mind.

It looks really good in person. I would say cup holders are a great idea and would be as easy as a hole saw!!!

Sammy, thanks for posting the pictures. I was getting ready to do it when I seen you beat me to it :D

I have a feeling that the boat is going to sell great. Lots of features that people are looking for.
My whistle is wet for their next boat that should be here in the spring?????

Design looks great and useable. Everything has a purpose. Good features like the steps in the door...I think that is just awesome. :thumb: great job to all those involved!

With nice numbers to boot.

Checkmate listened to what was said about the cup holders. With a little mold modification, there we have it... CUP HOLDERS!!!

I can not say how impressed I am with this boat. From what I have been told, it handles great, performs excellent, and the thought that went into it is superb! If I did not have my 283, I would really consider one of these boats.

I wonder if I can get some seat time at the resirvoir..... ;)
