Reed's 1979 Trimate 2

Shane's 2.4

( Whew ) Shane and I got his motor on, I need to start weight training again I could only pick up the 2.4 for for about 5 min at a time lol I used to be able to bear hug one for 15-20 min. I gotta hit the weights and get buff again these arms used to be 23 inches. ( getting out of shape is a B.... ) but after an hour of doing some fine tuneing adjustments Shanes motor is mounted and ready for the lake, he'll be the first of our crew on the lake this year

My new Avatar pic is about the newest I have . I had a set back in 2007 ( fell in love and sold all to move and it fell threw....... but I have my tools and toys yet, I have a rented a place with a garage now I can get back at it. in the summer of 2006 I took my Trimate II out for a test of the new power head and it had enough torque to spin the hub in a used 24 pitch chopper prop and when it did it went to 8,900 RPM and as I planed off I lost a cylinder and when I turned to go back to the dock I lost a 2nd cylinder. ( 2 head bolts backed out all the way ** note to all on the 2.4 power heads 1978-1979 are the only 2 yrs you can re-use the head bolts ** Newer ones Stretch!!!** I do have some pics I'll have to see which I have put on here and learn how to add new ones. ~smiles~ I owe a lot to Gus, Chris, and Coop for getting my creative mind going again * Thanks Guys *
