What do you think?

I think, "Hells Yeah, buy that boat!" Sweet looking boat, but that black will be hot in the summer!:eyecrazy:

83 GPS sounds a little optimistic, but could be legit...who am I to question. The price looks OK, but you never know....might take a little lower offer. Like the hours...all in all, the only big thing against the boat is that gas is going to be $5 per gallon and you're going to want to use that boat, not polish it in the driveway.

C'mon...do it. It will feel good...I promise.

it looks nice, not sure how much$. oh and it is not going to run 83mph! realistic 70-75mph please ask lots of question's. hope this helps!

Yeah I dont know how I feel about the black. It looks sweet but very hot. How are the yamahas on gas compared tho a merc? I'm hoping that the price of gas will help me get a better deal on a boat. lol

Well, that depends a lot on who's driving the boat! Eh...You don't buy a speed boat for mileage or range, but I think most will tell you that the Opti's tend to sip the gas a little easier than the the Yamahas. There are others who are a lot more knowledgeable about those aspects than I.

The speed claim is dubious...the best I've seen in mine is 75.4 GPS. But, there is more speed there. I was hoping to crack 80, but it won't happen. So...I really doubt that boat will pull 83. But, who knows, maybe it's the fastest 225 ever. :)

The fastest 21' w/225 that I have seen on here was I think 77gps and I think it was JupiterPulsare who did it with lots of trial and error. I am also pretty sure that I have never seen a Yamaha that was as fast as a merc. The best I ever hit with my 21' and 225 was 74gps.

Agreed red! If your not the anal cleaning kind stay away. Its the same as a black car but worse. Black is the prettyist clean and the ugliest dirty. It will show every spot, streak, swirl and scratch. Your cleaning and polishing time will be alot to keep up with it. BUT: If you don't mind that the boat is nice!

my old boat, now Pete's ran 77GPS w/225 Merc EFI. I'm sure I hit 83+ in it, I just didn't have my GPS on when I was towing :(

Boat looks nice, love the black! Get em down on price a bit tho....

Thanks guys. I agree black would be a lot of work. I also don't believe the 83mph. OCT I did see your boat. I was confused as to if you were keeping the motor or not now.

For sale with no motor, pre rigged for a merc. Buy a motor of you choice and put it on. It is really easy to bolt one on and go. I have been watching for a 225 optimax to put on it, they are out there in the 4500-6000 dollar range depending on the year and hours.

Boat looks great, Work on the price! As for black it looks great. The costant wiping down while your out in it, Gives you something to do all day and tricks people into talking to you about your boat. But once the deck starts to cloud up. It qiuckly deteriorates from there and it becomes a never ending war to beat it back. Or U do what they did and only get it out 2 or 3 times a summer. The Speed was a simiple Typo error ;)

Seeing another Black Pulsare 2100 brought tears to my eyes:shakehead:....my GPS speed of 77.0 MPH was accomplished with a full tank of gas, two adults, a full cooler and all gear. The boat was set up with a 1994 Merc 225 Xri 3.0 liter motor, 13.5" of setback, SeaStar Pro Steering, Stock gearcase with water scoops, stock Trophy Plus 26. I never GPS'd the boat light on fuel with just one person...but I'm sure I would've picked up another 2-3 MPH shaving off about 300lbs of weight between the xtra passenger, fuel, gear, etc..that would've put me right at 80MPH. With the 225 Vmax this guy is running plus the DAH Chopper, 82-84 MPH may not be unrealistic..

I have never seen that boat out on Madison lakes before so I believe him on the hours. Price seems a bit steep but guess it seems that way cause I stole mine :sssh:. Not sure on black either, the constant water spots would drive me nuts.

A black boat is not that bad, yes it does get hot, but it gets lots of attention. Every one has a white boat with a colored stripe or two.

I hear in the sagnasty its better to have a black boat, cause thats what it ends up. hahahahaha Don't shoot the messenger!

Boat looks to have a 6"jackplate. Unless the motor is built, I would guess low 70s. Boat looks nice, but black is way too much work.
