Thanks Coop, How did you post that pic? For the life of me I can't figure it out. Chris has told me two times how to do it but still can't do it.cooperider said:Nice!

TR, the tops were still open in that pic. I left the factory glass matt in place as a pattern when I tore everything apart. It was rough cleaning out all the wet foam and rotted wood yet keep the matt shells in tact but it worked out ok. New 1/2" marine plywood was cut and installed inside the matt boxes using screws, glue, glass and matt. The lids were made twice as thick as the sides and I installed threaded ss-ancors fot the seat bolts. I also left a small hole in the bottom of each seat box at the low point so water could run out if needed. Is the bottom portion of the inside boards missing or is it an optical illusion from the angle of the photo?

Boston Predictor said:Wicked, I was reading a thread on Scream and fly that discussed whether or not to wax the bottom of the boat. Some were claiming that it actually made it faster but most agreed that waxing actually slowed it down, making it kind of sticky and draging in the water. Its just something to think about if top end is what you want.![]()
