&*%$# Winter

Mid 60's in jersey today. Might have headed out if the boat wasn't out of commission for the season.

We can't boat during the week anymore becase it gets dark at 6. :brickwall:

I've had some great times cruising the Intercoastal waterway at night between St Lucie Inlet and Palm Beach Inlet. You can have dinner at Shrimpers in the Manatee pocket and 2 hours later be having drinks and dancing at The Waterway Cafe in Palm Beach!!!

You guys can have your salt water! I'd rather be cold than sticky every time I get out of the water, not to mention the damage it does to the boats! That don't mean I don't like to come down and warm up from time to time!

Keep telling yourself that when every inch of your roadways and vehicles are covered in road salt.:p

i'll second that CHECK16, and considering how many boats they sell in the south, salt water is hardly the problem,
PLUS for all you anti-salt water people, its not nearly as bad as its made out to be,

Around these parts we call that a creek, Looks about as exciting as pulling on to the expressway! I think you left your blinker on. And why did you slow down when you came up onto a 2 minute old boat wake!

LOL! LOL! Only kidding Have Fun Take Care Go Fast Enjoy Your Winters!

Yeah....saltwater.....just remember; boats run faster in saltwater than freshwater:poke:. And we always clean our boats and flush out our motors with freshwater..no worries!:bigthumb:

thanks for the vid's,a couple of these a month, and spring will be here in no time!(p.s those skaters with twins on them, ain't no slouches are they!!)

That was a 28 I think. It had 300's on it. I also got passed by a 100+mph fishing boat. Kind of took the wind out of my sail that my boat broke 80 for the first time.

LOL... there's some big muscle down there!! and 80+ is still really fast!!

another nice vid! those cat's are just plain fast!.....are you just cruising along,or are you wide open?

For most of that I was running 60 or better. I'm pretty sure that I made the whole run in less than 30 min and it was 32.7 miles back to the ramp. That was my first trip to the Suwannee.:bigthumb:
