Michigan Mate Events?

the 4th gets busy , not good for speed runs, but tons of people to hang out with!!:cheers:

hey matt, you should leave your boat up here in saginaw, then you wouldnt have to tow it back and forth........we wouldnt take it out .........maybe :poke:
 
I'm game for the fourth...the fireworks are awesome! I have two other friends with mates (a pacifica and an entertainer) that would be out there too.
 
giddy up!!! looks like its on for the 4th weekend. we'll stop for some Hooters takeout on the way out to the bay.

What day is the fireworks on! or someone pick a day!

Summer coming together! so far: jobbienooner,Saginaw 4th,pokerrun weekend,cumberland 1st wk of sept.
 
Bay city usually has the fireworks on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Saginaw just has them on the 4th and I personally think Saginaws are the best. Gotta love Hooters but the food at Dockside (right across the river from Hooters) is great.
 
i would like to be on the water both 3rd and 4th. hit the bay in the day and make it back to saginaw on the third. its too far of a drive on the water after the bay city fireworks at midnight.

on saturday, the bay and then make it in to saginaw for fireworks on the water. then just pull out there.
 
That is about the same flight plan that I am going to do except I will probably stay for Bay City's on the third.
 
The wifey owes me some vacation time so I'm good there!I just worried about keeping the boat together until then? :irked: It looks like I need pull it out of storage and get a work'en on her so I don't embarrass myself!

Friday & Saturday, the 3rd and 4th of July.:bigthumb::cheers:

Ross...I'll be at Torch again this year over the 4th also. Missed you last year! And if you can't whoop'em I will! LOL :thumb:

nice! where are you staying this year? i doubt we will stick around for the fireworks as it gets pretty crazy as you know i'm sure but will be out there for the day to enjoy the boating activities:thumb:it does get a lil' rough for the starflite late in the day so we hide in some coves that i know of or on clam lake. let me know what your plans are and maybe we can hook up this time:banana:-ross-
 
The saginaw river run really sounds like fun . Im gunna be at my house in Glennie michigan for that whole week . Its about almost 2 hrs way im going to try and get out there myself with my Trimate II and if I can get my buddys trimate II back together he will bring his out also. I think that will be a really fun weekend . Long as gas isnt 4 bucks a gallon we will be out there . If it is 4 bucks ill stick with the lake my house is on lol ....

Well if I dont have a boat together by then, I will trade ay a few nights in my spare bedroom for a ride or two in the boat.:cheers:
 
HOUGHTON LAKE

Any body up for a get together at Houghton lake this summer?

I would like to set one up.
I can't make the July 4 run.
So why not have one up at Honghton lake to sometime.
