24 Super: winter update

when do you plan on having it all back together and water ready? and what prop do you plan on starting with?

I'm not sure when it'll be ready.. its looking like the powdercoat for the platform will be the holdup. I have to run it up to Twinsburg OH (by Cleve) when I get a chance during the week. I'm not in any rush... weather still sucks.

I have an old school 29P solid hub mirage that I got from Kirk at Elite Marine. He used to have a 24 Pantera with about 650hp and that prop was the best for speed outta everything he tried. I'll probably be calling b-blades about coming up with a taller pitch prop that acts like my Rev4... I think they can turn a bravo into somthing that behaves similar from what Brett was saying over on OSO.

Nice. Is the forced inducton system all new and has to be sorted out, or has it run before?

Jason Kunkel has done quite a few procharger installs, but its all new to my motor.

so are you gonna let us in on what youre building or just some teaser pics
Its my old 454 with a procharger on it.. all pics I have are on the previous two pages.

i got the procharger part from the pics just wasnt sure if you built a new motor for it or what. still very cool gonna try and make this one run with the other one

I came across a Progression for sale that uses the same indicators, but looks like they are mounted under the dash with just the fingers coming thru- very cool idea! I'd probably have tried to copy that if I saw it earlier.

i like that better, doesnt take as much dash space. looks smoother:cheers: your giving me ideas, i also need to add some indicators:sssh:

With the thru bolt heads showing, I like having the plate. But if nothing shown thru. Now that would be the ticket

I keep looking at them as a good place to set your "SODA" while underway
