25 center console

The9s

New member
New to the boards and I have to say this is a great site.

Does anyone have any wheel time on the 25 center console? I would like to know how it performed and how was the ride ?

What type of construction is used and is it the same on all Checkmates.

Thank You

Same construction as the other current 'mates. Not sure if anyone has one on this board, but I did see one over on facebook.

Welcome to the board.

Its a good looking boat. There are somethings I really like about it like the walk thru transom, dash lay-out and seating. They did a nice job with the covers too as it is always a problem on a CC boat. The ladder looks like it was an after-thought and what is the locker door in the splash well. I would think water getting into the locker would be an issue in a following sea or when coming off plane.
That being said, I would like to know how it performs.

The9s,

Here is a CM 25 cc that the ToyStore in MI has for sale. It looks like a very sharp boat. If I ever sell my boat, this model would be on my shrort list for a cc.

Good luck-

That is a good looking boat SCT and the trailer looks well thought out as well.

As for performance feedback, I have not seen much discussion about them on this site. I don't know how much different they handle than the Baja built version, but as a last resort you could visit the Baja forum and inquire if you have no luck here.

I really like this boat but my wife said we are too young for a center console (I disagree!)

Good luck in your search, I hope you find possitive information about them.
