I got fisheyes in the paint
Did you use an inline moisture filter? Harbor Freight sells them cheap.
Man... Maybe its just me, but it doesnt look that bad. Get a few more coats on it.... And everything I have read about brightside is---WAIT, it will look better in a couple hours.
PS- IF you decide to go ahead and do a base/clear.. Be careful with the interlux pre-kote and brightside. I thought I read somewhere that going over it with other products will cause it to fail on you?
Thats no good, bunch of time and money out the window, but I guess thats how ya learn sometimes. On the bright side, you talked YF into painting it for you, should turn out nice.
I had most of the supplies, however I bought $100.00 worth of paint and ended buying more sandpaper. For sanding the boat down was about a day and 1/2 day to take it apart. After all this is over I'll have some lessons learned for the DIYer.

Brian will stop by on the way back from Orlando to help squirt the boat this weekend coming.

Hopefully I'll have the boat sanded down and ready by the time he gets to Charleston. Hopefully it's a matter of taping, sanding and spraying, well if it's that easy a caveman can do it right!!! I'll have plenty of pictures.

Been waiting to hear how it went today. Didnt know if it was too cool to spray or not. Only got to low 50s if that in this part of the state.
