JW, I spoke to this guy. He sounded like his wife had a gun to his head while I was talking to him. Said the motor had like 1600 hours on it etc. Sounded like he really didnt want to sell it. Told me he had a buyer who was supposed to pick up yesterday and if he didnt he would call. Then he reposted it on C/L last night. Ragu

At this stage I reckon one should assume every one of those transoms needs replacing, regardless of how clean the boat is. It's just a case of when.
I'll be doing mine next winter I reckon.
 
As you can tell I'm really trying to join the northeast twin outboard team:D but trying to do it the easy way with minimal rebuild effort:shakehead: No luck yet and doubtful it will happen. If a twin O/B or single that needs a mate come up again, I will keep :bounce:ing around the listings.

I'm glad these days are over for me, I like what I found here! The only question I'm having is" how long before I want to go over 80 in it?" :banana:
