Oooooo... I like that 220 Convincor! Unfortunately, I'm finding that my 219 Persuader is too much boat for my lake (shallow water in a lot of spots).

I know what you mean. When we chose our lake property I had to sell my Persuader and go back to outboard boats. Persuader drew too much water for me to get it on a boat lift with 100' of dock.

Yup. Lot of people on this lake (Big Portage Lake in Livingston/Washtenaw counties) that have to get waaaay out with docks.

I don't have the dock/lift issue. The canal (not really a canal, more of a man made inlet) is 6'+ deep in the center and 18" at the seawall). It's 5'+ off the end of my docks:

The problem is out in the lake where there are too many areas only 1'-2' deep. And the bottom comes up really fast. That BBC/Bravo 1 is no light weight either. Even with the outdrive up all the way, at no wake speed, it will still dig a furrow in the bottom. Haven't dinged the prop (yet), but I sure have ground all the paint off the lower part of the outdrive. Granted, I'm still 'learning the lake', but it's been difficult to find a decent path to let her run anywhere close to full throttle.

I see an outboard in my future also.
