:bigthumb: Good stuff! Man I really want to get down there to goof off with you guys. Get to know you in person so you understand 99% of what I do or say is just in fun and a joke. I don't need anything but a ramp to put in, everything else I need is on the boat so I can just show up. We'll see, I'm working on it.
 
J and I are going to leave Indy sometime on Thursday. Depending on what time we can get out of here is going to be the deciding factor on driving straight through or not, it's about a 9 hour drive without draggin a boat. Most likely we will get to the lake Friday morning. My brother who is in Charolotte will be joining us for the event. We have a lot going on too but we aren't going to miss this, it's going to be a great time! Red, what's the weather been like there? Are the water temps coming up?

We are good to go and water temps, I was out their all day saturday and spent the night on the boat and came back sunday. No problem jumping in the water:bigthumb:

I plan to be at the June Boatfest but I'm not very familiar with LKN. Where is the best place to put in and how do I find you all?

:bigthumb:You dont need to be fast when you have plenty of beer and a grill to cook food on. My toon runs good, I out ran 3 other toons Saturday thats not saying much though.:rof:
 
Lake Norman plans

Friday meet at Queens Landing, "The floating bar" I will be their at noon till or around 2pm or so. Then move to a cove off main channel on north end.

Saturday wake up in cove on north end, go to near by greasy spoon and eat breakfest. Then I will head to south end sandbar.

All other plans in between will be plaid on how it rolls:bigthumb: If anybody wants to do any speed runs in the evenings or early in the morning I will show them around.

#3 == on the map Queens Landing thats where the to hudge dinner boats are tied up.

BROWN X== on map thats the north end cove

RED X == South end sand bar

BLACK x == Thats where I put in,, Long Island Boat ramp

# 5 ==== on the map is where the Lake norman motel is

Their also is a boat ramp at queens landing off hwy 150

I think that might be a payback for wanting to cook his goat! You mess with the goat,you get the horn!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOl:lol:
