Date has been set..."Lake Norris Spring Fling" May 29-30 2015

The date for the Lake Norris Spring Fling has been set! May 29-30 2015..
I have gone back and forth on the date. With memorial day being the season opener for the marinas and the thunder run at Lake Cumberland three weeks away it seems the end of May is the best option.... I will get together a plan as to our destinations on the lake. I wanted to go ahead and set the date so everyone could book there room and make plans.

Going to do my best to make it, but don't want to officially put my name on the list yet. Might still be working on the motor swap at that time.

The dock manager said he could make room for us and do some rearranging if need be to accommodate us.... They are suppose to be buildin new slips this winter also... I think all there slips are covered... The owner also said trailer parking would not be a problem...

I asked the lady about that.. she said they were all privately owned and there was no getting around that.. I know the prices are on the high side, but considering how nice they look, multiple bedrooms to split and amenities i guess it isn't so bad....
 
We are looking to possibly rent the same house we did this year for that weekend. It would be about 2-3 miles south of the marina and has a nice dock. I will keep everyone posted and we might have some extra room there. It was a very nice little house set up to sleep several people!

I was wondering how they where so plush with furnishings. Now I get it. Not your average motel for sure. Real nice Will and thanks for all your doing for this Checkmate Hoe Down.
