New 2800SX interior!

Carbon Fiber would look sweet. Red Carbon Fiber also looks sweet. Your 2800 is really looking great and thanks for sharing all the pics . Really enjoying your resto thread. :thumb::thumb:

The final remaining items in my cabin are now complete. The V shaped ceiling panel that conceals the back of the dash has been installed along with the L shaped box that mounts above the cabin door to conceal the back of the radio. Also, we built a carpeted wedge to cover the fuel tank feed and vent tubes to the bottom left of the door. I also bought the boat a few early xmas presents! A new 240 watt West Marine WM3000 Stereo with Co-Ax 6.5" Speakers and some 4" LED lights that mount inside my cup holder/speaker pods! Ran my speaker and lighting wiring yesterday before we install the combing panels..

ps..for some reason the center picture is sideways??

I like the red on top of the carbon fiber, it blends in with the black gelcoat.:thumb: Unless you like the teak trim pieces I would update with some starboard strips in white. Also the step pieces as well.

Trim will be replaced with carbon fiber or I may paint red..

With only one day a week to work on the boat progress has been slow but steady. As of today both new combing panels.have been installed using 1.5" aluminum right angle stock runners along the floor and stainless hardware on the top. My 6.5" coaxial speakers and led lights in the cup holder pods are wired up. Speaker wire has been secured inside the port gunnel and run to the rear seat box for my 3 way 6X9 speakers. My dive ladder has been mounted to tbe rear of the seat box. This week we'll build the valance to conceal the throttle box. I'll be moving the switch panel and tab indicators just forward of the throttle box elsewhere and I'll be moving my trim switched (now located on the dash to the left of the steering wheel) to the top of the new throttle box valance just forward of the throttles. Here's a couple cell phone pics from today.
