Tri-mate 2 over haul.

Do you think you will get to run your Tri-Mate any this year? Keep us posted with the pics of how it's going. Are you completely through moving yet? When I was younger, we moved out to East Texas and then back to Mississippi....I know how ya feel havin to move that far of a distance. You probably would have had to "live" in the garage for a while if you would've bought that boat!

Slowly getting it put back together. I installed the center stringer, Still hav alot of glassing to do. But I think the worst is behind me. I am ging to try and get the floor installed tomarro. I will shoot some update pictures. It will get wet this year. I better or I think my better half will hang me.

Well back at it again. The center stringer is installed and locked down real well. That was fun. Something I don't want to do again.

Vodie, welcome to the board. Yes get a picture of your boat. I would love to see it. Glad to see some one from NE. on here. We will have to get together, let me get the boat put back together first. How is your boat set up?

Well back into it again. Had trouble getting resin. Had to order it.
Well the maiin floor is in and most of the bow. Still have to glass in the cover piece in the bow. Then it will be grind and make smooth.

I also spent the day standing on my head glassing in the splashwell from the underside. For anyone who has not done this should do it ONCE. Then never do it again.
Still have alot of sanding to do to get it just right. But it is getting there.

I am hoping to get the boat in the water once this year. Need to baseline the changes. Then it will be time to de-rig and flip for a pad install. Then to paint the boat a diffenernt color.

Took the hand rails off. Talk about cleaning up the look. I don't think they will be going back on.

Perhaps you should move to Ohio?

Back at it again. Windshield off, all hardware removed. Most of the wiring removed. Still have to get some support in and them its flipping time.
Looks strange with the windshield removed.

Back side view. Speedo meter on the dash will be for show. There is no way I am going to drill any holes in the transom.

I never noticed the embossing on the deck Gus. That's a nice little detail.

Gus, you may also want to check into modifying that windshield while it's off. Have someone cut it down 4-5", that will definitely help the look. OR, maybe ditch it all together and replace it with a nice smoked black plastic windshield with no frame like I've seen on some V-Kings. What do you think? Either way, get you a bow cover on order!

How the heck did you lift the motor Gus?

Do you have an engine jack, or did you just rig up something yourself?
