1988 Enticer restoration. Advice welcomed.

Lawson, nice little project. looks like you've got you work cut out for ya. These kind of threads are some of my favorite to watch unfold. I suppose it's because it's uncharted territory for me and I know nothing about it. I've taken on many projects but seeing a blank canvas like a empty hull I would think could be a little overwhelming. Props to ya man! Keep the pics comin

Hey thanks for all of the replies. I looked at the threads on the links posted and noticed that the stringers are glassed to the floor but only the bottom half. Do they glass the entire stringer next and just didn't post the pics? After reading some info online it looks like Cabosil is the way to go. Do you think an automotice paint supply store or boat dealer would carry it in stock? I also read on here that guys were recommending a construction adhesive called PL Premium for attaching stringers and supports prior to glassing. Would this be OK or should I use the Cabosil and resin instead? Also, Lawson's Landing is the name of the neighborhood I live in and our boat landing. Thanks for the help.

First I apologize in advance because my answer is probably wrong according to the glass master but here you go;

You would encapsulate the stringer in glass and resin first, then glass from the hull up the stringer. There's a big article on PL Premium do a search for it on the forum alot of wooden boat builders use. You can embed the stringers with it. I think you'll have to order the Cabosil, not sure if an automotive store would carry. Do you have West Marine close by?

If you end up having to go to West Marine to get it locally find the cheapest place you can on the net for it, print out the page with the price on it, and West Marine will match it. :) They are crazy on their prices but their price match guarantee comes in handy.

EDIT: I'm not sure if they'll match ebay prices but they do match online stores. I had them match Wholesale Marine's price on some Interlux paint.
