CHECKMATE OWNERS RALLY 2011

I just dropped off my resume at a place I have a very good chance of getting into... keepin my fingers crossed. Also, I've been up my friends ass about getting my job back from 10yrs ago.. might just have to go postal and get escorted off the property of my current job to make it to the rally... start taking up a collection now to cover my bills for a few months!!!!:D
 
Its still over there... Jason has been swamped and waiting on me to bring some parts over.

Got just a few parts I'm waiting on to arrive, then after that it should be all set. Last I saw it- had the swim platform on and batteries mounted. I guess Jason got the battery switch mounted in the fancy pants bezel on the back bench and battery wiring done. Almost ready to run- I think... maybe change out the drive to an XR before it leaves- he has one sitting there.

Does everybody already have their reservations at Connely or can we get a bunch of sites together? I will just have a tent so maybe we can consolidate/share sites too?
 
The red circle on the map is where every stayed last yr, dog school had his camper site there and they are the closest to the docks. If I remember its first come first served. They allow 6 adults per site, but they are small lots. If only one vehicle and one tent you should be ok to share?
It gets warm up in those hills away from the water. Some of the campers were just going to stay on the water this time too (me included) if I now go. All my info is a yr old at this time. Brain and I meet up heading down 75 on thursday last yr and pulled in together.

I had the interview today... went really well, I think. I should know Monday afternoon...
