CHECKMATE OWNERS RALLY 2014

I wish I was able to . I have a few pics , a bad hangover and had the best time . The weather finally was nice yesterday but most had to head home. A great time with great friends . Im sure many pics to come soon and maybe I can send some to someone that could help a brother out. A big ole thanks to the gang that started this Rally and have really stepped it up . I wouldnt miss it in 2015 that is for sure.!!

Just got home about 30 minutes ago and I wish I could have stayed longer. The weather was a little wet but we made the best of it and had some good running and partying. I have a couple photos and short vids I will try to upload at work tomorrow after I clean up my workload from being off work for a few days. Thanks to everyone that came and hang out with us, it was an awesome time with great friends, cold beer and good food.

We just pulled in the driveway at. 7 . Thanks for putting up the pics. We stopped for a late lunch north of Dayton and sent them over to DreamTA while taking a little break. We had a blast and still on cloud 9 after the boat ride of my life in the 43. Wow is all I can say. Thanks you so much Bill and Monica !! We had a great time and already looking forward to next year. My face is still sore from all the laughing hanging with Barry (LarryMoonshine)haha. Thanks to everyone involved in the planning and all the hard work involved. The food was outstanding and the fun times with you all you fine people has been awesome. Im sure some good action shots will be pouring in soon.

You want em' you got em !!! Here we go 👍

First of all, We must give credit where credit is due to of course Checkmate, Dean Renyolds and Joe LoGiudice who really helped make this an official event.
And I believe in return we really showed them what our fanatical culture is all about. So I would like to offer a great thanks to all the Owners and Fanatics who attended and showed their support for this great brand. Thank You !!!:thumb:

Now then, we have the people behind the scenes to thank as well. RgrDave aka Dave & Yellowfiero88 aka Brian who really stepped up with their collaboration and brought everyone together for this event. :bigthumb:
And we cant forget the lovely and talented "Checkmate Ladies" who took care of the tasty sustenance for our "Linner" on saturday afternoon. Maureen, Karen, Jess, Liz & Dianne you Ladies sure know a way to a hungry Checkmaters heart Thank You so very much for your efforts !!! Ya know we only love you for the free food you give us.......:rof:

Now without further ado the pictures you all have been waiting for.......

Who's running the Hustler? I really like the Hustlers.
Looks like a great time. Wish it wasn't a ten hour drive.

Its well worth the drive Keith. It takes us close to 11 hours stopping a few times and taking our time getting there. We just stay 5 days maybe more next year and it is a pretty cheap vaca at Grider.By us staying longer we only had 2 days of rain and 3 gorgeous days and nites . I spend more $$ going to Cedar Point for a weekend .I wish the gatherings could combine or be a little further apart on the calender so we could try and meet the whole gang. and wouldnt it be sweet to get Sammie down to LC next year. Ill be getting a houseboat next year and just leave it at the dock so I will have a place for you Sammie, just sayin. A huge thanks to Chris for bringing us all together. the friendships that have formed here are incredible !!!! Alright time for me to get a life and go back to work tomorrow. :brickwall::pissed::sick:

The crazies have left the lake!

Thanks Checkmate for all they helped out with as well as the gift bags that were handed out:thumb:!

Also, thanks to all those who attended. Without the fanatics, there would be no reason to host this event! Despite the nasty wet weather, we still had a great showing. My phone got smashed by a trailer tire so I have no pics to post:irked:. However I know there was plenty of pics taken by some of the fellow crazies :eyecrazy: so I will wait on their posts!!

I had some good running Thursday evening, coved out with Nick & Becky, and Steve & Maureen. It cleared up Sunday allowing a bunch of us to do a nice run to Harmon and hang out till dusk. I helped Jeff (slingblade) with a tow to Jamestown. I think Dave & Karen, Jessica & I got back to the houseboat around 11:30. All together, I ran around 130 miles :surf:. Monday was a sad day of packing everything up and heading back to reality.

Keith, I got a little seat time before Steve and Maureen bought that 388..... I will say that I will seriously consider a slingshot IF I ever go bigger ;)

I will get some pics and short vid's up after my girl gets to the office.
We had a great time . I had 9 family members and 3 friends come down and had a blast on the house boat. I got to take mine out without anybody with me for the first time this weekend for a short blast and that was fun.
Got to run with the Sing Shot 388,Punisher 43,Super Boat, and some bad Checkmates.
Also did the "Lenn Shults Chine walk boogie" a couple times. (I don't like that dance) Ran the poo poo out of my boat this weekend and everything ran just fine till the last ride home when the outdrive expired.
More like exploded. I have not got in and seen all the damage yet but it is not good the shifter is locked,Ujoint in shaft exploded and there is parts of the coupler and the flywheel in the bilge .When it went i was in it kinda hard but was already doing about 50mph. Big sparks came out of the side vents . I am lucky it did not sink.
I knew this day was coming . now its time for a upgrade.
I am not mad nor was I ever the Brovo 1 lasted 3 yrs. great weekend ,3 tanks of fuel and I got very high SPG , and a great slow night ride back to the house boat even if it was on a rope. :bigthumb:

More pictures!! These are from lynchmob!
