I have looked at the boat and it feels solid but has some cosmetic issues: It needs all the vinyl replaced. It needs a new cockpit cover also and the shelves in the cockpit are cumming down, The sliding doors on the cabinets are stickey and so is the cockpit door. And after typing that it sounds like a dumb question. But im still interested in everyone's opinion. I cant get the link to work. Its the 281 maxxum in the above post.
 
I've been seeing older 281s in the mid teen price range, lately. The owner just dropped it from 18.5k to 15.9k....so he must be motivated. I'm not an IO guy but w- 400 hrs on the 502, it will probably need gone over real good. Maybe Corey, PC, etc can give their engine knowledge. But if the floor/transom are solid....and some buffing, cleaning....it might be a lot of boat for the $$!
