LAKE CUMBERLAND OWNERS RALLY 2013

^ Thought you wanted to carpool? I see how it is... !!!

LOL, how it is is I'm tired of driving on all my days off, every trip I've took in the last few years I drive, after driving 2500 miles a week at work, its starting to get old, I suppose if I drove to Iowa and left my truck there it wouldn't be too bad to drive the rest of the way, at least then I'm getting paid for the first 1200 miles, I didn't book the flight yet, just got it all figured out and planning to book Friday, You driving down for sure? if its a for sure I'll hold off booking and chip in for gas :poke:

Thanks Chris, but Brian is the one behind this. He is the Local Checkmate Social Director. I am only the assistant filling in for him when neccessary.:thumb:
LOL!

Yes, I know. :)

Let me say that I think you're doing one hell of a job for just an "assistant".

I'm glad to see you've now graduated up past the "chief bottle washer" position in that you're now you're allowed to do more than just sweep up the trash and make coffee for "Double B". :thumb:

All kidding aside, thanks again guys for taking the time and making the effort for your fellow owners. :)

-Chris

I put in for time off, I'll stay at grider hill. I only made the first run, But grider was a fine camp ground. They allow up to 4 adults per site. The sites are tight.

Griders primitive spots are small with no utilities. I recomend to those camping at Grider who want more space, utilities and a solid slab of concrete to rent a r.v. spot. We did that last year and had enough space for a boat trailer, truck and two tents. The bathhouse there is rather old but was clean.

Well getting there Wed would work great for me, I could take off from home Monday, get my semi loaded in Iowa Tuesday morning and meet you in Omaha whenever Tuesday, hmm decisions decisions.

Just stop by our house and load ourboat on your semi trailer and we can roll down to lake Cumberland like that! We might be going my dad is a last minute person, so we could not be going then the next day he will be like let go! Lol so when the time gets closer I will know more.

If you guys decide on Grider is anyone this year making reservations for a block?? or should we just call and reserve it ourselves. Jeez I cant wait to get this show on the road and its still six months out

If thats what enough people choose to do I would be happy to reserve a block of rooms & slips if needed. I dont live very far from Grider.
As it draws closer we can get things more finalized.

Yeah, and realistically, I should know if I get picked up for the job by late march.... at the very latest. Ready to get boozed up and play bumper boats!

Sounds good to me that way we would hopefully have a better chance of getting slips by eachother
