I agree with you, the hull does remind of baja, maybe similar to the hammer. With that being said it's a nice looking boat and if Doug Smith sticks with a hull design that he has already tested and knows works well then good for him. He is trying to keep the business succesfull and sell boats, you can't please everyone all the time.
