I got the new valve covers and header flanges but have not tried anything yet. It is supposed to rain the next 3 days so....... I hope to get the engine assembled all the way if the parts work.

Boat looks great, this is one of my favorite threads. Would love to see a big pic of the boat on the trailer.

I know! I had to run it back to the garage last night because it was supposed to start raining in the middle of the night. I am getting it back out mid week and finish the engine bay. I still have some of the balsa core exposed in the engine compartment that has been drying out all winter. I am kinda amazed that the balsa got hard again after drying out. Might make it a little hard removing the water damaged parts of it.

I am prob going to run down and pick it up tomorrow. Crap weather today and did nothing but lay around. Got to love the rainy day pains:irked:

Started the exhaust tips also. Alot of fun drilling a 4" hole when there is already a 3" hole there:irked:. I will finish up the exhaust tips tomorrow, paint the alpha transom assembly, polish up the windshield and get it mounted hopefully tomorrow.

And for those who asked,

Started on the windshield with 320 and went up to 600. Then with my little buffer and some mothers brought it all back to a near perfect shine. I also painted the top frame and the inside of the frame. I still want to tint the glass a little darker so that it blends well.

Got some motor work done also.

Even got everything to clear!

Also got the winch, front roller, and finished the welding on the trailer. I want to get the springs replaced tomorrow and install the bearing buddys before it rains tuesday.

That's one sweet looking boat, great job!!! :thumb:How about a video when you get the boat wet for the first time.
