355, Stock heads ported, polished, and shaved, intake and exhaust manifolds matched as well. Comp extreme marine cam. Full roller 1.6 arms.Maybe I missed it, but what are the details on that engine? ci? what kind of heads, cam, etc you got in it? what kind of hp numbers are you expecting?
i never really liked the stock swim step and have contemplated (big word for me lol) puttin an aftermarket anodized billet platform on the back, but a wood platform would look great also.
So as the saying goes 2 steps forward, 1 step backwards. In the excitement of getting the outdrive on, I somehow didn't get the intermediat shift shaft aligned properly. This caused it to bend and not be able to shift F-N-R. So I had to take it all back off and buy a new shaft. This must be a common mistake as it was stocked at the dealer, LOL. I got it all re-installed and I am now onto bigger and better things!
Exhaust tips are cut down and sealed to the transom. (had slight rubbing on steering)
Exhaust is run and done till I weld up some stainless setup latter this year or winter time.
Teak swim platform is sanded, oiled and installedLadder also installed.
Oil is primmed, distributor installed, plug wires ran.
Wiring harness installed and pluged in.
Steering lines and power steering pump installed.
Battery boxes mounted and stuffed with A/C delco 27's
Going a different route on the interior, 1 off custom. I cant do all this custom work and have a out of the box interior. White, green and black. There is even going to be some head in there. Horse head that is, and not like in "the godfather". Custom embrordered on the front seats and engine covers as well as "checkmate" on the rear seat in the same font as the side of the boat.
Brian do what us southerners would do, use a milk crate for a drivers seat until the interior is done. Great job!!!
