The new interior will go in last. I still havt yo build the seat mounts and a mount for the adj hot foot plate. AHHHH for fiberglass work.

Well today I desided to see about putting the mercury decals on the cowl. I have a few different styles. The 1st one I put on said mercury racing, mercury in white and racing in yellow. This was A decal that has the clear backing, like it would go great on glass. Well looked ok on the cowl, but you could see the clear backing. Looked like crap in bright light. So I peeled it off. I decided to go with the simple yet carry a big stick concept. The ones that are on are factory merc decals. Very simple and with the yellow louvers held up it really sets it off. I may go with a red pin stripe but have not desided yet.

AH, the $64,000 question. What month?
I wish I knew but I do have some time. The weather doesn't warm up around here untill at least the end of April.
Going to flip the monster right side up and get it back on the trailer this weekend. Should be fun.

I was looking for a decal that would set it all off. Looking for maybe a yellow checkerboard that I could run across the bottom of the cowl. Something simple.

When I need vinyl lettering or graphics I GO TO A local sign shop that does vinyl work, if you give them a sketch of what your looking for and dimensions they can whip up anything you want. if there simple thay usually dont cost much. On the flames on the side of the cowl I did,They had several styles of flames in there computer, I just picked the color and he stretched them to look right in my space and I had them in five minutes for about $20.00
