What do you pull your checkmate with??

Diablo just released a new MPG Booster tune for my truck. I loaded it but didn't see much gain, still 18mpg. But I'm thinking it might have something to do with me putting a Magnaflow exhaust on at the same time. I get on it a little harder now that it sounds good!!

I'd love to see 18, hell I'd be happy with 15. I see 11-12 whether I'm empty or loaded. Although the only time I'm on the x-way is when I'm towing.

I run a Superchips programmer. I get 23 mpg at 70 mph. And get 13 towing the boat on the highway.

The programmer in my truck did wonders for how well it drives and shifts. It doesn't shift into second at 10 mph now. Shift points are higher like if you had a manual trans.

I love the truck, but it will need a tune, exhaust and air intake to wake it up a little bit for my liking.

I like yours Brian

Still doing my rare towing duties with the wife's sport ute. Upgraded again a year ago with a 2014 Highlander XLE. Averaging 24-25 summer non-towing on 87 octane gas, no complaints there. Drops to 20-21 in the winter with her around town driving. Been using a ute since late 2008, wonder how much gas money I've saved over the last seven years?

2012 Chevy Silverado 1500(ice silver metallic) for my towing, 21 mph on the road, 18 mph around town. I live in the flat country(SC) no need for 4x4.:)

Now she just needs some beefier tires and you'll be all set!!!!

Maybe. I have a guy who made a offer on my rubber so I could buy new but his offer was a little low.I can only go up 1" in tire size which would also require me to trim the bumper for clearance. Still debating on that.

Well, Some people think I am crazy for doing this, but I sold my loaded up 2013 F150 Lariat Super Crew for the following...It is a 1997 Ford F250 extended cab, long box, 4x4 with the legen-----wait-for-it-----DARY 7.3L Powerstroke. This thing has the original paint, and zero (you read that right) rust! Not bad for 160k miles! Frame, body, everything is rust free and original! And the best part is that I have no payments on this old girl (bought a little commuter car for work and have this for a garage queen/boat hauler)!!!

Sounds like a great Idea to me. I would not buy a ford after 2003 when they took the 7.3 out of the trucks. that is when they started to go down hill. I would love to find a 1997 Crew Cab Dually with a 7.3 in good shape. that body style is my favorite.
