1988 Vision redo

REDuced Vision

IncREDible Vision

Not sure how you feel about that style- with the word red in another word, but making it pop out somehow with the design.

I'm liking the colors so far. Didn't read through everything so you may have said already. Are you doing the same red as the hardware? I like it. Say a pearl red or micro flake red would look great, IMHO.

Yes Jetmate we're trying to get a custom mix of awlgrip to match as closely as possible to the hardware color --- I'm getting a new mix sample from them in about a week and a half --- then we'll shoot a test sopt to see how it looks.

Looking good! She is going to look nice with the slut red on it!

Was at the shop this morning, they had received {finnaly}from Awlgrip a sample of the custom mix of "slut red" for the striping.
The custom mix came out perfect {perfect match to the hardwares powder coating}
Sorry, I didn't have my camera for a pic :mad:
Anyway, I told them to order it and start spraying.

Ahhh, but what's important now is the interior....
I have a stupid question....
I want all the upolstery redone, -- it's all in very good condition but the colors and color designs are dated {very 80's style}.
So, I want the seats to be a nice plain white and a checkered graphic on the engine cover.
I do very much want the fellas in Ohio {Checkmate} to do the upolstery work but has any one here actually put a complete set of seats and a engine cover pad in shipping ---the question is, how much does shipping this kind of bulk cost, it must be astronomical, not sure if the shipping costs will outweigh the purpose of having Checkmate do the work.

Any thoughts?
