Be Careful guys and Spoiled

Operation Dry Water 2015, June 26-28
Don't know if LEO in your area participates in the program, just a word to the wise.

The 2015 Operation Dry Water heightened awareness and enforcement weekend
will take place nationally, June 26-28, 2015.

Heightened - Enforcement Campaign
• The purpose of the heightened enforcement component of the Operation Dry Water campaign is to deter boaters from boating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. When boaters chose to boat impaired they are endangering not only themselves but the many other boaters on the water as well.

• We a very thankful for the law enforcement support that the Operation Dry Water campaign receives every year. Just as they do on the road, law enforcement officers keep us safe in many ways on the water. This heightened enforcement weekend facilitates an opportunity for officers in your community to remove impaired operators from the waterways and to inform and educate boaters about the dangers and implications of boating under the influence in your state.

• If you are with a law enforcement agency and would like more information about participating in Operation Dry Water please visit the Law Enforcement webpage.

Since the launch of Operation Dry Water, the number of boating fatalities with alcohol named as a contributing factor has decreased from 19 percent to 16 percent in the United States*. However, alcohol use continues to be the leading known contributing factor in recreational boating deaths in the United States.

Operation Dry Water was launched in 2009 by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) in partnership with the United States Coast Guard.

The breathalizer always tells its own story but,
I think we have a pretty good group when it comes to drinking and boating. In the years we been doing this i've never felt someone shouldn't be behind the wheel. It won't change my weekend any. I'm scared of the water and respect it. You never know whats changed unlike the roads.

Is there wifi at the house?

Also - should we start to pull together what supplies we are bringing?
We should have it down to a fine art by now! :-)

ok I've pmed their total cost to everyone I have an order for. If you don't get one let me know.

Now that I'm home yes Kris I think we need to get a list of what everyone will be bringing this year. As of now I can only say beer and a boat. So you guys list what your thinking and i'll see whats left.

Kris they don't have wi-fi listed in the ad.

I'm still planning to bring a turkey to smoke. That will give us a lot of meat to enjoy for lunches/dinners for whoever is interested.
I will coordinate with Chris/DT on the smoker needs.

I'll have to bring a bunch of food stuff specific for my missus (its a complicated diet). I will also bring along some bags of pasta, breakfast cereal, etc which can be shared. They would cover my kids needs and leave plenty for others.

I'll have beers and throw in a bottle or two of spirits also with mixers. I fancy a few sundowners on the jetty each evening!
(Merc, if you're coming, I'll definitely have one of your awesome Bloody Marys in the morning!!!) :thumb:

That's what I have in mind, a outdoor satellite Coffee, Bloody Mary, Beer & Water bar! Its all the details :surf:

Now that I have the time, I think I'll do my driven on Thursday and get a room Thursday night

Truefully that's what my first choice will be too.

Yes, but the margaritas weren't big sellers. I couldn't give them away. Their off the menu

What else is needed? i know ill be bringing plenty of beer, some waters. a few rolls of paper towels, a few rolls of TP. ill probably throw some burgers and brats in as well cant seem to have enough of those.

Since I,m coming so far this year and we always have to much stuff I'm going to wait till i get there and will run out and get whatever we need or forgot.

I'm cutting vinyl for Mercs trailor, Chucks boat name and Robs window. If anyone else wants anything done let me know and I can bring it with me to save on shipping. Prices will be cheap for beer money.

This time in a week i'll be on my way Maryland.
