LOOKING GOOD. GREAT IDEA RUNNING THE HARNESS'S HIGH. IT WILL KEEP THEM FROM WEARING THE GELCOAT AWAY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SPASHWELL!!

My dad has a 5hp briggs a stratton air cooled outboard for sale that would look pretty sweet on the back of that. just kidding, very nice boat Id like to here what numbers you run with a big merc on the back

SCT... what an awesome color choice...the more I see it, the more I drool!!!

What could be better than that color combo & set-up with a 300X??? OK...maybe Kip's new 2400 Pulsare with TWIN 300X's???

Can't wait for the finished project... You REALLY should contact the magizines to do an artical or performance review on it... that CHECKMATE deserves some MAJOR ATTENTION!!! Jim.

SCT, how did you go about ordering your new boat? Did you order through a independent dealer, or did you order direct (can you do that). The reason I ask is that I am wanting to do something similiar to what you have done. OldSchool

OldSchool,

You can order a boat from your local Cmate dealer and customize whatever colors and equipment you desire. Call the factory for your nearest dealer.

oldschool:

You already ordered your boat didnt you ?
Which graphics did you order?
Which motor and accessories ?

Pulse185, I ordered my boat a few weeks ago. It will be similar to SCT's boat, but it will be a 1850 not a 2100. The exterior graphics will be like the 2002 2100 LE pulsare. The colors will be red/black with flake and the base color will be white. The interior is quite different, the cockpit seats will have a red/black keystone style(kind of like the style Dave has on the red 2100 pulsare) on the back of the seats and up front on the back rest cushions in the bow. The trailer will be all white with red/black pin strip and aluminum wheels. It will be yamaha pre-rigged. It will be more my speed than the flames. OldSchool

LOOKS LIKE THE BOAT SHOULD BE MOVED UP ON THE TRAILER A BIT TO BRING THE BUNKS OUT PAST THE TRANSOM.THE PIC OF INSIDE OF THE TRANSOM, SOME 2.5 IN. WASHERS OR MORE STAINLESS STEEL PLATES WILL HELP.

If I didn't have a new car payment, I'd be picking up SCT's Pulsare for my own!!

Merc 245,

The pictures are deceptive. The bunks do extend beyond the transom for support. The rig is a dream to tow with the dual axle Chawk trailer. I highly recommend the company for your Mate.

I didn't think ss washers would help after I built the aluminum plates. Even w/ 12" setback and a 300x that transom is not going anywhere!

I'm finally ready to order my motor!! It will make a nice "X"- mas present.
